Michael Marois launched a new bureau for Bloomberg News in Sacramento in 2001, covering state government finance and politics. Prior to Bloomberg, Mike was the San Francisco bureau chief for The Bond Buyer Newspaper, a trade publication covering the municipal bond industry. He previously was the business editor for the Union newspaper in Grass Valley, and a regional reporter for the Press-Republican in Plattsburgh, New York and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force security police.

Kevin Riggs is Capitol Reporter for KCRA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Sacramento. He's worked there since 1994. Past assignments have included the national political conventions, Arnold Schwarzenegger's trip to Israel, and the "hanging chad" dispute in Florida during the 2000 presidential campaign. Riggs' duties include anchoring weekend newscasts.

Laura Mahoney is the Sacramento staff correspondent for BNA, a legal and regulatory news service based in Washington D.C. She started with BNA in 1989 as a reporter in Washington, D.C., and spent two years in Los Angeles before coming to Sacramento in 1993. Mahoney covers the Legislature, courts, and state and federal governments for BNA's daily and weekly publications.

Dale is the publisher of several business to business newsletters which are the leaders in their respective fields. Starting in Denver in 1968 Debber's career has spanned broadcast, print, and internet media.

Brian is the Sacramento Bureau Chief for The Orange County Register and a member of newspaper's investigative team. He previously worked for The Sacramento Bee and before that The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, Calif.

Jim Miller is the Sacramento reporter for The Press-Enterprise (Riverside, Calif.) He has covered the Capitol since 2000. He also has worked for The Modesto Bee and newspapers in San Joaquin and San Benito counties.
